Mistfall Hunter Soul Harvest — Live Ritual Guide

Soul Harvest is live in Mistfall Hunter as of Bellring’s August 12, 2026 live update. It is Season 1 themed gameplay — distinct from the season umbrella name Soul Hunt. Steam lists Soul Harvest as a special operation by Dew and the Gyldhunters to mend the Web of Fate, stop the Velgr False God plot, purify souls warped by Soul Cocoons, and progress a new Fate Chart stage.

Official match loop (Steam August 12)

1. Trigger — While Soul Harvest is active, matches in Hallowgrove / Brandrgarde can start the mechanic. Higher Gyldening Intensity raises the chance.
2. Spawn — Soul Incubators with Soul Cocoons appear randomly; a Fate Altar spawns for the purification prayer.
3. Resonance — Carrying a cocoon reveals other cocoon holders — and reveals you.
4. Altar — After enough match time, submit 2 Soul Cocoons at the Fate Altar to begin the ritual.
5. Richie — Optionally submit 1 Soul Cocoon to Richie for a team Soul Cocoon reward.
6. Survive — Complete purification under third-party pressure, then still secure Soul of Return and extract.

Bellring directs players to the in-game tutorial for full UI details. Pre-launch DevNote #7 also described the Soulgnawer elite disrupting rituals — treat her as a high-priority PvE threat when she appears during active rituals, and watch flanks the entire channel.

How to play a Soul Harvest match

1. Prepare at Windrest — stable build, wine, consumables. See Getting Started and Victory Wine.
2. Check Fate Chart — claim stage tasks before queue. Guide: Fate Chart.
3. Enter and loot enough Gyldenblod to justify risk — Gyldenblod.
4. When incubators spawn, assign a carrier and escorts — do not freestyle three solo cocoon races.
5. Respect resonance: if you cannot win the fight, leave the cocoon.
6. Hit Richie for the one-cocoon team reward when the squad agrees, then bank two for the altar.
7. Start the Fate Altar ritual only with peel ready — Squad Comps.
8. Burn ritual disruptors (Soulgnawer / mutated cocoon creatures) before greed side POIs.
9. Still complete Returner Woodling / Soul Tree extract flow.
10. Extract and bank — ritual success with a dead squad still loses the haul.
